The present study aims at identifying the effectiveness of an instructional program in reducing anger among students in the preparatory stage. The study sample consisted of (20) students and students in the preparatory stage divided into two equal groups. The first group consisted of 10 experimental students, 10) pupils in the preparatory stage at Ibn Khaldun School in Sirte. In order to verify the validity of the hypotheses, the researcher used the anger scale and the guidance program, followed by the experimental approach. There were significant differences between the experimental group and the control after the application of the pilot program for the experimental group and there were statistically significant differences between the grades of the experimental group in the tribal measurement and their grades The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences between the scores of the experimental group in the post-measurement and their degrees in the followup measurement on the scale of anger.
