Data Sharing Policy
Data sharing is the practice of making data used in scientific research available to other researchers. Many institutions and publishing houses have data sharing policies, as transparency and openness are considered integral to the scientific method. Horizons Journal has the following data sharing policy:
1.Authors regularly exchange data and relevant documentation.
2.Authors make their data available for verification or other analyses by other researchers after project completion or publication, except where proprietary agreements prohibit access or where sharing the data in any meaningful way is impossible.
3.When sharing data, authors take appropriate steps to protect data confidentiality and the identities of non-author participants.
4.Where appropriate future use requires access to identifiable data, authors take steps to ensure data access is possible under appropriate restrictions that protect the privacy of participants.
5.Authors expect data sharing to be an integral part of the publication plan whenever data exchange is feasible.
