Publication Policies of Afaq Journal
1. Integrity:
Authors adhere to the ethics of scientific publication. All papers are subject to plagiarism detection. Any article that does not adhere to these ethics will be rejected.
2. Copyright:
The author agrees that the copyright to their article is transferred to the journal. Once accepted for publication, the paper will be published in a freely available or open-access format and distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows readers to freely redistribute, modify, adapt, and create from the content, provided they attribute the original work to its author.
3. Editorial Policy
-First Submission:
Scientific papers and their attachments should be submitted by email to the journal, or uploaded electronically to the journal's website. The author will be provided with a link to track the paper's progress.
The paper must include, either in the submission itself or as a separate file, a brief biography of the author and their affiliation, along with their email address.
The author will receive an acknowledgment of receipt. Second: Review
-ٍInitial Review:
The editorial board reviews the research paper to determine if it meets the formal publication guidelines and is eligible for peer review.
The initial review considers criteria such as: the suitability of the topic to the journal, the type of paper (research or non-research), the correctness of the language, the accuracy of documentation and citation according to the journal's established documentation system, and adherence to the ethics of scientific publication.
The author is notified of the receipt of the research paper and the result of the initial review.
If the journal finds the research paper promising but requiring pre-peer review improvements, it may proceed to a stage called "research completion and improvement." During this stage, the author is provided with guidance or recommendations on how to improve the paper to qualify for the peer review stage.
-Peer Review:
Each research paper undergoes scientific review by referees (peer review).
The author receives a report from the editorial board outlining its decision, a summary of the board's observations, and any required revisions. This report includes the referees' reports or summaries thereof. The names of the referees remain confidential. Making Revisions:
The author makes the necessary revisions to the research paper based on the review results and resubmits it to the journal, clearly indicating the changes.
In a separate file attached to the revised paper, the author addresses all points raised in the editorial board's letter and the reviewers' reports.
4.Acceptance and Rejection:
The journal reserves the right to accept or reject submissions based on the author's adherence to the publication rules and standards and the guidelines of the journal's editorial board.
