publishing and archiving policy

Authors of articles published in the journal are permitted to self-archive under the following conditions:

  1. If the paper has been submitted but not yet accepted: Authors must include the following statement if they publish the paper on a personal website: “Submitted for publication in the Legal Studies Journal.”
  2. If the paper has been accepted and copyright has been transferred to the Legal Studies Journal: Authors may publish the paper on their personal website with the following note on the title page: “Accepted for publication in the Legal Studies Journal – (Date, Year).” The author is not permitted to submit the paper to any other journal or publisher.
  3. If the paper has been published: The statement should be replaced with:

“An edited version of this paper was published by the Legal Studies Journal in (Year) by the Faculty of Law – University of Benghazi.”

It is recommended to include the full citation and a link to the abstract, formatted as follows:

Author(s) (Year of Publication). Title of Article. Name of Journal, Volume Number, Citation Number. DOI (Digital Object Identifier) of the Journal.
