One of the prominent features of science books is the quotation of some of them from others. This depends on the nature of these sciences, which grow and develop over time, so their issues need addition, explanation, abbreviation, arrangement, editing, criticism, or something else. The later ones depend on what the earlier ones wrote, and accumulation and cognitive growth occur.
Compilers’ quotation from one another does not have a single characteristic, but rather takes forms that differ according to books, authors, and eras.
This research highlights four pairs of books that depend on each other. In order to describe and analyze this phenomenon.
Keywords: citation - scientific honesty - scientific theft - accreditation - development of science.
