The State of Research Trends in the Field of Educational Administration: A Literature Review for Priority Setting

The study aimed to explore the current research trends among Palestinian researchers in the field of educational administration and to identify the research priorities that should be emphasized within this domain. A descriptive analytical approach was employed by analyzing the content of titles from published studies to determine prevailing research directions. Additionally, the Delphi forecasting method was used to establish research priorities. The findings revealed that the most prominent research priorities include: "modern administrative trends and the integration of artificial intelligence applications," "educational and strategic planning," "crisis management in educational institutions," and "design and management of training programs." The study concluded that there is a lack of structured research plans and agendas guiding researchers in the field of educational administration. Therefore, it recommended the establishment of research centers in all universities based on a sustainable national strategic vision, along with close monitoring by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It also stressed the importance of focusing research efforts on high-priority topics
