The Effectiveness of the PDEODE Hexagonal Dimensions Strategy in Enhancing Learning Enjoyment Among First-Year Female Students at the Faculty of Education, Derna

Abstract

The current study aimed to examine the effect of the PDEODE strategy in enhancing learning enjoyment among first-year female students in the subjects of Physical Education and Music Education. The research problem was defined through the following questions:

Are there statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test measurements of learning enjoyment in the experimental group?

Are there statistically significant differences in learning enjoyment between the experimental and control groups immediately after the lecture?

To achieve the research objectives, the researchers adopted the quasi-experimental method due to its suitability for obtaining accurate findings. The research sample consisted of 32 female student-teachers from the Early Childhood Education Department at the Faculty of Education.

To analyze the data, appropriate non-parametric statistical methods were used.

The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-test in favor of the post-test regarding learning enjoyment, which reflects the effectiveness of the PDEODE strategy. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the post-test in favor of the experimental group, confirming the strategy's effectiveness in enhancing learning enjoyment.
