Abstract

This paper aims to know some of the social variables of divorced women family and their relationship with the social conditions of the divorced woman. The strong of the social relationships of family، the family size and cultural background on the Libyan have a strong impact on the social status of the divorced woman، in terms of the woman's chance of remarrying، and the adherence to children and the work of women. The researchers also used the descriptive analytical study method، where the research community was divorced women registered in the courts in the city of Benghazi، in addition to، the volunteer sample which was the best in this study، because of the difficulty of access to divorcees، time and high sample size. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. The study found that، the variable of social relationship had not shown any relationship with the social variables of divorcees women، except of adherence to children and participation in social events، the study also showed that، the variable of family size has to do with all the variables of the study، while the culture background variable had not given any relationship to the variables of the study.
