Abstract

Since the mid -1940s, The Vilayat of Tripolitania has witnessed a remarkable increase in the movement of European journey and exploration, and the British and French travelers had the most prominent role in this regard;  But at the beginning of the sixties of the same century, the German traveler imposed their presence strongly, whether in the field of exploring the country itself, or to cross from it to the middle and western of Africa, the Von Beurmann's journey in 1862. AD comes as an introduction to an increasing German exploratory activity until it continued until the beginning of the twentieth century.

Von Beurmann's killing - outside vilayat of Tripolitania - during this journey lost the possibility of benefiting from his observations and impressions, which would have taken its way to publication later;  Consequently, it is not necessary for research and excavation in his personal reports and letters as a single source of this trip.
