Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the effective elements of management information systems and their impact on crisis management. The problem of the study was to answer the following question: Is there a statistically significant effect of the indicators of the success of MIS on crisis resolution? In order to conduct the study, the researchers selected the sample of the study consisting of all managers in the senior management and middle administration in all hospitals currently operating in their locations (outside the clashes) in Benghazi city.
The most important results are:
1 - There is a medium degree of indicators of the success of MIS in the study community.
2. There is a statistically significant impact on systems of indicators of the success of MIS on the ability of hospitals under study to deal with crises.
3. The most important indicators in the MIS affect all stages of crises: quality of information and user satisfaction, while the system quality index has no impact on all phases of crisis management. The system usage index has no impact on two phases of crisis management, Warning signals and crisis containment. The study also recommended a set of recommendations to help management deal with crisis management.
