THE SUITABLE OF AGRICULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES FOR ACHIEVING DEVELOPMENT OF URBAN AND PERI-URBAN AGRICULTURE , CASE STUDY (COAST JABEL EL AKHDAR AND ALMRJ AND GRDS ALABID)

Abstract

The study aimed to suitable of  agricultural  and environmental  policies for achieving development of urban and peri-urban agriculture and determining personal characteristics of the managers and deputy director and the relationship between agricultural  and environmental  policies  levels in urban and peri-urban agriculture. So, study aims to investigate on opinions managers and deputy director of agricultural and municipal sector from municipalities of Coast Jabel El Akhdar and almrj and grds alabid. Data were collected through the use of questionnaires on a sample of the managers and deputy director of agricultural and municipal sector and agricultural bank and credit bank involved in the study area. A total of fifty (50) questionnaires were distributed to managers and deputy director of municipal sector and credit bank where 49 responded .also, fifty (50) questionnaires were distributed to managers and deputy director of agricultural sector and agricultural bank where 47 responded. A quantitative data analysis approach was used to analyze the data (SPSS).Results indicated that of agricultural and environmental policies and constraints on the concept of development of urban and peri-urban agriculture. It was recommended that training programs must be planned and executed in the area of development of urban and peri-urban agriculture.
