Abstract

The continuous growth in the size and complexity of electric power system, has given rise to the need for extremely fast and highly reliable protection scheme. In the scheme which proposed in my paper, the aim is to extract the fundamental power frequency components of voltage and current signals from the complex post-fault waveforms using suitable filters.
