Self-Citation Policy

Self-citation refers to an author citing themselves or their previous works in their research or another research paper. Excessive self-citation diminishes the value of genuine citations to the journal, as citations from the same author may not reflect the true impact of the research. Given the importance of self-citation in avoiding self-plagiarism (reusing previous work without attribution) and building upon previous works, demonstrating the evolution of ideas and research, the journal emphasizes its commitment to not exceeding the allowed limit of self-citation, which is 10% of the total citations.
