Editor-in-Chief's Standards

The Editor-in-Chief must observe the following when managing the journal's operations:

  • Publication of research will be based on the priority of its submission date to the journal, with consideration for the dates of modifications if requested.
  • Adherence to confidentiality, not disclosing any information related to the author's name, reviewer's identity, or review outcome, except to those directly concerned.
  • Author's objection to a specific reviewer assignment should be considered.
  • Editors should not make any editorial decisions or be involved in the editorial process if they have or a close family member has a conflict of interest
  • The Editor-in-Chief must recuse themselves from taking any action regarding research if there is a conflict of interest with the assigned reviewer. The Managing Editor may undertake the Editor-in-Chief's role in such case and vice versa.
