Publication policy

Al-Manara Scientific Journal adopts a general publication policy based on the following principles:

  • Publication filed include: Educational Planning and Organizational Management - Arabic Language and Islamic Studies - Education and Psychology - Early Childhood Education - English Language - Mathematics - Computer Science - Biology - Chemistry - Botany - Zoology.
  • The journal is semi-annual, publishing two issues each year, one in May and another in November.
  • Publication is free of charge. Al-Manara Scientific Journal does not charge any publication fees.
  • for issues of journals, contained articles should cover different fields or disciplines.

  • Diversity in peer review to enhance both the credibility and speed of the research evaluation process
  • Openness to researchers, accepting their inquiries and objections, presenting them to the editorial board, and considering them or responding without delay.
  • Review is conducted according to an evaluation, specifying the evaluation criteria, with a mandatory justification for the reviewer's decision, whether acceptance, rejection, or request for modification.
  • Research will not be accepted for publication unless it receives two-thirds of the total review score, unless there is a breach of academic integrity, in which case it will be completely rejected, regardless of any other consideration.
  • In case of rejection of the research, the author will be notified officially with a summary of the reasons. Detailed reasons for rejection will only be provided upon the author's written appeal to the journal or the scientific journals follow-up committee within thirty days of the rejection notification, requesting a statement of the reasons for rejection. At that point, the research will be sent for review again, accompanied by the reasons for previous rejection, and the final reviewer's opinion will be conclusive.
  • Rejection of the manuscript does not preclude submission to other venues, including different publishers, journals.
  • .After the article/issue is published on the university's website; it cannot be withdrawn or modified except with the Editor-in-Chief's approval, with the author's knowledge, and for substantial reasons justifying it.
  • The journal promptly examines submitted works before and after peer review. Submitted work will be rejected if the plagiarism rate exceeds the allowable limit for scientific publication (20%).
  • The journal will not accept or consider any submissions, articles, or contributions from individuals who have been identified as having plagiarized work.
  • The author's reference will be by their full name and academic degree according to the information they sent to the journal upon submission of the research.
