Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission:

Manuscripts must be submitted to the editor as follows:

  • Manuscripts are submitted by the journal's email address.
  • Before forwarding the manuscript for an in-depth review, the editorial board checks if the manuscript is within the scope of the journal and ensure if it comply with publication instructions.
  • The editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with the above-mentioned guidelines
  • If instructions are followed, the editorial board will conduct an initial plagiarism check.
  • High similarity rates may be a reason for manuscripts to be rejected without being sent for external peer review.
  1. Publication Conditions:
  • The submitted manuscripts must fall within the scope of the journal.
  • The article should be written following the “guidelines for manuscript." To avoid any delays it is crucial for researchers to format their manuscripts according to the specific requirements outlined by the journal
  • The research must be original and not been previously published in any format.
  • The research must follow the accepted scientific principles.
  • The article should be written in correlation with its title and abstract.
  • The research must be written in a proper scientific language, whether Arabic or English.
  • Authors must commit to incorporating feedback from reviewers.
  1. Manuscript structure, format and style.
  • Articles should be submitted in a Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) file format.
  • The submitted manuscript should include the full name of the author(s), their affiliated institution, and contact information (phone and email).
  • The research can be submitted in Arabic or English Languages, provided that two abstracts are prepared for, one in Arabic and one in English, each not exceeding (300) words.
  • Manuscripts should be formatted according to the journal’s template
  • Submitted manuscripts should not exceed 25 pages (A4 size) with no more than 12,000 words, including the Arabic and English abstracts, as well as the list of references and appendices.
  • A maximum of five key words should be provided, expressing the main topics and concepts discussed in the article.
  • For Arabic manuscripts, the font type should be Simplified Arabic, font size (14), with single line spacing. For English manuscripts, the font type should be Times New Roman, font size (12) with single spaced lines.
  • For tables, the font type for Arabic research should be Simplified Arabic, size (13), and for English research, Times New Roman, size (9).
  • Page numbers should be centered at the bottom of the page.
  • Authors are requested to avoid explicitly mentioning their name within the text. They also have to avoid any indication that reveals their identity.
  • Graphs and illustrative figures should be inserted in the center of the page, in black and white or colored, sequentially numbered, with their titles and explanatory notes placed below them.
  • Tables should be inserted in the center of the page, sequentially numbered, with their titles placed above them. Explanatory notes should be written below the table. Sources and references must be cited below each figure or table.
  • References and sources should be listed at the end of the research in a sequential manner, following the citation style of the American Psychological Association (APA). Example:
  • Book: To'ma, Rashid Ahmed. (2006). Total Quality in Education. Dar Al Masirah Publishing.
  • Article in a Journal: Fathallah H.,.(2019). Professional Responsibility of Faculty Members as an Input to Achieve Quality in University Education. Educational Journal of the Faculty of Education, Sohag University, 63 (63). 369-494.
  • Internet sources are not accepted unless their extension is .gov or .edu.
  • If the research is extracted from a Master's thesis or Doctoral dissertation, this must be clearly stated in a footnote on the title page and fully documented.
