Within the framework of applied linguistics comes the issue of linguistic weakness, the first of the
problems that must be eliminated, where many people complain of the poor level of students in the Arabic
language, in our schools and universities, and that is a chronic problem; Long-term and minds bogged down
in the search for its cause, and the reference to the causes of the disease in it, and the maximum extent that
the hand of reform extended to it in this problem is textbooks and grammatical terminology, then the
reformers marvel when they see this reform did not produce the desired fruits, and they watch the level
decline day after day On a day as if we were in front of a well that gradually drains its water, and nothing
replenishes it and fixes it, and if the situation continues to do so, a day will soon come when illiteracy among
the graduates will be more common.
