Obstacles of School Administration in Elementary Schools at Derna City in Viewpoint Principals and Assistant Principals

The study aimed to identify the administrative, personal and financial obstacles to the school administration of basic education schools in the city of Derna from the point of view of the principals and their assistants. The descriptive approach was used, and a comprehensive survey of the 66 principals and assistant principals was conducted. A 26-questions questionnaire was distributed. Findings showed that the most important administrative obstacles were the large number of burdens and tasks assigned to the school principal, and personal obstacles, the weakness of the ability of some school principals to follow leadership styles.
