Activating the role of the psychological counselor in educational institutions in the city of Benghazi

Abstract

    The aim of the research is to identify the importance of a psychological counselor in educational institutions, in order to identify the nature of the work of the psychological counselor and the difficulties that he faces, and the researcher relied on conducting an opinion poll, and the research concluded that the educational and local community is not aware of the importance of the role of the psychological counselor and the lack of material resources that help In conducting training courses for psychological counselors, the research also found that there is a marked decline in the provision of psychological services in educational institutions, and it was also found that there is a lack of coordination in the work of the psychological counselor, and that there is no objectivity in evaluating the work of the psychological counselor.
