This study aimed to identify the extent of contribution of artificial intelligence in leading societal change and achieving sustainable justice among students of the Faculty of Education at Seiyun University. The researcher adopted a mixed-method approach, combining descriptive-analytical and qualitative methods, due to their suitability for the nature of the study objectives.
Two instruments were utilized. The first was a questionnaire consisting of five main domains and 20 items, covering the dimensions of the phenomenon under investigation. The study sample included 42 students from the Faculty of Education at Seiyun University, Yemen. The second instrument was an open-ended interview consisting of ten questions, designed to deepen the qualitative understanding of the quantitative findings. It was administered to a sample of five master's students from the same faculty.
Results:
The findings indicated that the overall mean score of the study instrument was (3.76), reflecting a high level. This suggests a strong positive orientation among participants toward the role of artificial intelligence in leading societal change and promoting sustainable justice. The results also revealed no statistically significant differences attributable to the specialization variable among the sample. These findings collectively indicate that artificial intelligence has become an essential tool for reforming the educational system, enhancing leadership in societal change, promoting sustainable justice, and directing education toward a future-oriented vision.
Key Recommendations:
- Developing training programs to empower learners to employ artificial intelligence in education and in leading societal and digital transformation.
- Activating intelligent digital platforms to enable learners to participate in educational and community initiatives.
