Ethical Standards Expected of Editors and Editorial Board Members

  • Absolute Confidentiality and Safeguarding: Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all submitted manuscripts, research materials, and associated correspondence. Editors must commit to treating these submissions as privileged, legally, and intellectually protected documents throughout the entire peer-review and evaluation process.
  • Strict Prohibition Against the Exploitation of Unpublished Data: Refraining entirely from utilizing, adopting, or incorporating any ideas, methodologies, or data contained in unpublished manuscript drafts for personal research or academic advancement, unless explicit, prior written consent has been obtained from the authors.
  • Uncompromising Impartiality and Immediate Recusal: Commitment to absolute neutrality and immediate recusal from handling or managing any manuscript or editorial file should any form of conflict of interest arise. In such cases, the file must be transferred immediately and in its entirety to an independent editor.
  • Fair and Equitable Treatment: Ensuring unbiased and just evaluation for all researchers without any academic, geographical, or institutional discrimination, alongside a steadfast professional commitment to countering any attempts to marginalize scholars from developing nations.
