Responsibilities of the Advisory Board

  • Advisory Support and Policy Development: Providing precise, specialized counsel to the Editor-in-Chief and actively contributing to the formulation of scholarly policies and regulatory guidelines to keep pace with the rapid epistemological transformations within the digital media ecosystem.
  • Adjudication of Scholarly Disputes: Actively participating in the review of major methodological appeals and adjudicating complex cases of research misconduct that subcommittees fail to resolve, thereby safeguarding the highest benchmarks of academic integrity.
  • Internationalization and Institutional Representation: Serving as ambassadors for the journal in international academic forums, as well as proposing and coordinating pioneering special issues that address emerging and contemporary topics in media and communication studies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engaging constructively in evaluating, refining, and updating proposed editorial frameworks and publishing policies to ensure alignment with international indexation standards.
