Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers

  • Time and Workflow Management: Reviewers must thoroughly examine the manuscript immediately upon receipt and promptly notify the editorial board of their decision to accept or decline the review invitation. This ensures that the publication of researchers' efforts is not unduly delayed. Furthermore, reviewers commit to submitting their evaluation report within the prescribed deadline or requesting an early extension only under circumstances of absolute necessity.
  • Quantitative and Technical Report Standards: Reviewers are required to compose a detailed and professional evaluation report ranging from 500 to 1,000 words. The report must be supported by clear scholarly evidence and constructive developmental recommendations to assist the editorial board in rendering a well-informed decision.
  • Integrity of Human Evaluation: Reviewers bear full personal and written accountability for the final report. The utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to draft the review text or formulate the evaluative judgment on behalf of the reviewer is strictly prohibited, thereby guaranteeing an objective, critical human evaluation rooted in genuine academic expertise.
  • Procedural Reporting Mechanism for Misconduct: In the event of any suspected breach of research integrity (such as plagiarism, redundant publication, or data manipulation), the reviewer is obligated to compile an independent, confidential report backed by concrete evidence. This report must be submitted directly to the Editor-in-Chief, and the reviewer must strictly refrain from any direct confrontation or communication with the authors.
