Guidelines for Manuscript Submission and Electronic Submission Mechanism via the Digital Platform

The deposition of research papers and studies through the journal's official digital platform is mandatory and exclusive in accordance with the following technical and governance steps:

First: Account Creation and Digital Linkage (ORCID) The corresponding author must access the journal's electronic platform, powered by the Open Journal Systems (OJS), and create an official profile with complete data. It is mandatory to link the profile to the international Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) for all co-authors listed in the manuscript as a prerequisite to initiating the submission process.

Second: Preparation of Technical Files and Ensuring Review Confidentiality The researcher is committed to uploading the manuscript via two primary separate files strictly in an electronic format, which is (Microsoft Word - docx), to ensure layout quality and automated processing:

  • Title Page File: This includes the research title in both languages, the full names of the researchers, their academic ranks, institutional affiliations, their academic email, and a statement of the funding agencies for the study, if any.
  • The Main Anonymized Manuscript File: This encompasses the title, abstracts (Arabic and English), body text, tables, and references. This file must be completely free from any explicit or implicit indication of the identity of the researchers, and their names must be deleted from the document's digital properties (Metadata) to ensure the integrity of the double-blind peer-review system.

Third: Automated Technical Screening and Publication Integrity (iThenticate) Immediately upon the successful completion of file uploading, the system automatically subjects the manuscript to a scientific integrity and similarity check using internationally approved global software (iThenticate 2.0 / Crossref Similarity Check). The maximum overall allowed citation and similarity index is 20%, provided that the similarity percentage from the same reference itself does not exceed 5%, and the research is automatically rejected if these limits are exceeded.

Fourth: Uploading Supplementary Ethical Declarations (International Accreditation Requirement) The researcher is required to upload the following documents as mandatory supplementary files to complete the deposition: the approved Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form (ICMJE), the Authorship Statement Form based on individual roles (CRediT Form), and the Data Availability Statement (DAS) regarding raw research data.

Fifth: Generation of Tracking Number and Simultaneous Institutional Verification In the event that the manuscript passes the initial technical check, the digital platform of the journal issues a permanent and continuous tracking identifier (Track ID) to be utilized in all subsequent correspondence. Concurrently, the system transmits simultaneous automated notifications to the institutional email addresses of all listed co-authors, requesting them to confirm formal approval of publication, endorse the arrangement of names, and commit to solidarity and legal responsibility for the content.

Sixth: Communication Channels and Technical Support

  • The journal's electronic system (OJS) is the exclusive and sole channel for submitting and procedurally tracking research. Research papers sent via email are absolutely not accepted as a submission path to preserve the integrity of procedural auditing and digital tracking mandated by international databases.
  • The journal's official email address: ([email protected]) is designated exclusively for administrative inquiries, technical reviews, and communication with the editorial board or the technical support team; where responses to researchers' requests and inquiries are provided within a maximum of (3) working days.
