The theme of religious and events social festivals in the region of Cyrenaica and Tripoli in the Fatimid era is one of the important cultural topics in Islamic history and an aspect of communal life. These holidays and events have varied and received a great deal of care and attention by the governors and parish. It has represented a religious, political, economic and political character, reflected in the nature of society and produced a social heritage extended to the present time.
The research included the rituals of Eid al-Fitr and al-Adha and religious festivals such as Friday, Ashura, Hajj and others. In addition, there are other social events such as marriage and its matters of engagement, dowry and bride's collectibles, other arrangements and finally celebrating the newborn and circumcision.
