Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficiency and quality of drinking water at the BOTARAB desalination plant feeding the city of Marj, in terms of identifying the quality of the desalinated water in the main feeding tanks of the station and its quality within the network in the city's neighborhoods, and its coverage of the needs of the population and their water requirements, , And the results of chemical analyzes of the desalination water produced the high efficiency of the station in the production of water with high specifications compared to the standard Libyan drinking water limits, and the results of analysis of water samples taken from some neighborhoods of the city, Systems elements in water desalination concentrations were below the limit allowed by the Libyan standard specifications, the study concluded a number of recommendations that may contribute to finding some proposals that would increase the efficiency of the plant, and to ensure that it continues to produce water of high quality
