Abstract

In this study, the robustness of the (Student’s-t Test) for two independent samples and the (Mann Whitney-Whilcoxon Test) were compared. Simulation was used to generate study data from three large populations (100,000 observations) For each population,For the purpose of comparing the two tests, these different populations were born in terms of the distribution of observations standard normal population, Mediator Kurtosis and Skewness population, highly Kurtosis and Skewness population). And then, the sampling of the three populations (1000 samples) for each case with emphasis on the size of the two samples (equal, the difference between them is small, the difference between them is Mediator, the difference between them is large).
