Abstract

The current study is an attempt to know the transformational, leadership and behavior level of the heads of academic departments in the Faculties of Education at the University of Benghazi. The participants of this study are 151 staff membranes who teach in the Faculties of Education in Almarj, Qameenis and Benghazi. Data were collected using (MLQ) questionnaire that were given to the staff. And were analyzed using certain ways of statistical analysis. Actually, the results of the study showed that the heads of the departments demonstrated a low level of performing the transformational leadership behavior. In addition, the results showed that there are no statistical differences in applying the transformational leadership behavior and this due to the effect of the study variables such as gender, qualification, specification and scientific degree.
