Abstract

This article attempts to highlight the image of Islam and Muslims in various Western media (newspapers, radio, television, cinema) by knowing the topics addressed about them, the persuasive methods used to negatively stereotype them, and the values promoted.

With the increasing phenomenon of Islamophobia, the image of the Muslim world in general has become subject to much distortion and falsification in most Western media, which have worked hard to commercialize stereotypes of Islam and Muslims that arouse suspicion, suspicion and fear, and create reasons for aversion to everything related to Islam and Muslims.
