Agriculture in the city of Al- marj during the Italian era in Libya (1911-1942)

Abstract

The research dealt  with agriculture in the city of Al – marj  during  the Italian era (1911- 1942) where  the research elements included water sources, machines used in agricultural operations, the  technical services office in the city, agricultural settlement and its impact on agriculture.

Lands in the city of meadow, provident fund in the wilayat of Cyrenaica, confiscation of Land, confiscation of agricultural crops such as wheat and barley, cultivation of fruit trees, vegetables and Legumes, as well as battom trees ( pistacia atlantica) .
