Contributions of Dr. Anwar Al-Abadsa, may God have mercy on him, to the Islamic rooting of psychological studies

Abstract

The aim of the research is to explain the contributions of Dr. Anwar Al-Abadsa, may God have mercy on him, in the field of Islamic rooting for psychological studies, ancient and modern, and knowledge about his role in the field of Islamic rooting for psychological studies, as his published research amounted to (24) published research,on Islamic heritage and dealt with in-depth interpretations and analyzes towards the Islamic rooting of psychological studies. He revealed important methods in the field of psychological counseling. Research and psychological studies directed towards Islamic rooting in a way that is compatible with religion and Arab culture. He activated the role of the Islamic Rooting Center at the Islamic University. He completed many spiritual counseling programs. Raising the professional competence of male and female counselors in the field through intensive face-to-face and recorded training. The study recommends enriching scientific studies dealing with mental health from an Islamic perspective, and activating the role of Islamic rooting centers in Arab universities
