Abstract

The study deals with religious extremism in the heavenly religions, which begins with the
human existence on this simplicity. It exploits ideologies, governments and different systems
to achieve the goal of loyalty, domination and authority, or creating unequal environment in
the light of the different religious beliefs and customs. While the monotheistic religions have
rejected the encouragement of radicalism and extremism in religion, but today we are facing
a higher risk of this phenomenon nervously at both individual, social and international level,
which imposed a bitter reality that damaged the reputation of Islam and Muslims. The study
concluded that we need to spread the religious culture or social institutions that can reduce
the severity of this phenomenon, and that the governments should seek for creating valid
environment for dialogue and peaceful co-existence between religions. The researcher used
the descriptive and analytical method to find out the social influences of religious extremism,
as well as finding out the logical solutions to confront its cultural, intellectual and political
risks.
