Assessment of heavy metal pollutants, Ni, Cu, Fe, and Pb was conducted in roadside soil in Benghazi city in Libya using contamination factor (CF), pollution load index (PLI) and geoaccumulation index (Igeo) methods. The metals have been detected by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. The city has been divided to four regions and the metal contamination levels have been calculated and compared
