Abstract

      The research aims to identify expert systems, and the possibility of applying the Es Builder Web tool in library services, and the research is based on a descriptive analytical method for the Builder Web Tool, and present its characteristics, goals and capabilities to provide better services, it also relies on the applied methodology of the Es Builder Web tool in library services (circulation and reference service). As for the data collection tools, they were represented in the checklist as a data collection tool on the Es Builder tool on the web, and on the topic literature. The research reached a number of results from them : Take care to build a Es Builder web tool Simplification in the method of mutual communication between the beneficiary and the system, meaning that the beneficiary of the system must follow the instructions and procedures by answering the questions, and then the system will reply and answer, Knowing that the whole dialogue takes place with the beneficiary in Arabic simply ,in addition, expert systems contribute greatly to facilitating borrowing and reference service in libraries, this is through the assistance and contribution it provides in the management and decision-making processes in the difficult situations faced by the services. The research also made a number of recommendations, including: Motivating researchers to conduct research and studies on designing expert systems in the field of library services so that the purchase of systems designed abroad is not resorted to and whose nature may not be appropriate to the surrounding environmental conditions, also, it is necessary to train workers in expert systems in order to achieve optimum performance in the office profession.
