Abstract

    This study is about the intolerance of Jamal al-Din Abdullah bin Yusuf ibn Hisham al-Ansari al-Masri (761 H) on Muhammad ibn Yusuf ibn Ali bin Yusuf bin Hayan al-Andalusi (745 H), discussing the reasons why Ibn Hisham did not take knowledge from Abu Hayan, despite the fame of Abu Hayan in the Arabic fields and their presence in one country.  The study also discuss Abu Hayan accusing Ibn Hisham of insulting him, the judge's ruling on Ibn Hisham to imprisonment, and the effect of the disagreement between them on the liberation of scientific issues.
