Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reasons for the migration of Arab scientific competencies abroad, and to identify the repercussions of their migration, whether on them as immigrants or on the Arab countries, and to achieve these two objectives, the two researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, and an electronic questionnaire tool was used that was distributed to a sample of Arab scientific competencies migrating to foreign countries The data collected from the respondents were treated statistically, where the frequencies and percentages were used to answer the study's questions, and we concluded that scientific frustration in the various scientific research fields is the most repelling reason for these competencies by 87 percent. 9%, and that the presence of modern educational systems that do not exist in the Arab countries is the most attractive reason for them, with a rate of 75%. 8%, and the most negative impact reflected on Arab countries is the waste of the human and financial resources that were spent on educating and training migrant competencies, which is the first effect of brain drain on their country of origin, from their point of view, by 87%. 9%.
