The history of archaeological discovery of prehistoric sites in Cyrenaica region

The present paper touches on a topic that is both old & new historically, spanning from the 1920s era to our modern days. The sites are described in some detail, and the scientific material is accompanied by an introduction that includes key definitions to help the reader understand the article, such as the definition of a prehistoric archaeological site, its evidence, and the most well-known types in the study area, It also includes the concept of prehistory and the geography of the region where these sites are found through the establishment of prehistory studies in Libya.
The date of discovery is the title of the research that is listed according to the geographical nature of the archaeological sites between open and closed sites (the open - caves), as well as according to the archaeological evidence that is transmitted and stables. The conclusion contains the results, recommendations and a list of sources and references.
