Aim & Scope

Libyan Journal of Science & Technology (LJST) is devoted to the publication of

original contributions in the field of basic Science.

Manuscripts reporting the results of new research - observational, experimental, or theoretical concerning: astronomy, geology, meteorology, physics, chemistry, biology, Microbiology, Botany, Mathematics, and Statistics.

The LJST is capable of publishing some research papers in medical sciences and information technology if they are relevant to the scientific fields mentioned above (such as the use of artificial intelligence to analyze biological data, or the use of medical techniques to understand physical phenomena).

Therefore, the journal aims to be a platform for publishing solid scientific research in the fields of natural sciences, and only some topics from medicine and technology, provided that they are closely related to the journal's main fields.

Reviews, historical documents, and manuscripts detailing spacecraft instrumentation and remote sensing may be accepted, contingent upon previous clearance from the editor.

A complete issue of the journal is often dedicated to a singular subject, typically

stemming from a conference on that topic. The publication language is English. Either American or British usage is OK, but a combination of the two is not allowed.
