Responsibilities of Authors
Authors submitting manuscripts to BUJAES must adhere to the following ethical standards:
-Originality and Plagiarism:
Authors must ensure that submitted work is original and has not been previously published. All sources and references must be properly cited.
Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, duplication, or unattributed use of others' work, is unacceptable.
-Multiple or Concurrent Submission:
Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal.
-Data Accuracy:
Authors must present accurate data and results. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data is considered serious ethical misconduct.
-Acknowledgment of Sources:
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that influenced the reported research.
-Authorship Criteria:
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to:
- the research design.
- data analysis.
- manuscript preparation.
All co-authors must approve the final manuscript prior to submission.
-Conflict of Interest:
Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research results or interpretation.
