The paper aimed to identify the system followed by the University of Benghazi through a set of incentives and evaluate its effectiveness and impact on the performance of the staff The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach based on the collection of data on the phenomenon and its interpretation and reached the study sample (370) employees of the study society (5513) Employees The Statistical Data Analysis Program (SPSS) was used to analyze the results of data analysis to approximate the average performance of staff in the various departments and faculties of the university in the study, which may be due to the lack of difference between departments and colleges in terms of equipment and systems applicable The study showed that cash rewards are one of the most important incentives for employees to complain about the decline of wages, rewards, etc. The study showed that the university administration has not worked to develop and encourage employees to participate in decision making, rewarding and valuing outstanding performance for Increase their performance The study also showed that there was no equal opportunity to grant exceptional rewards and that they were not linked to the outstanding performance of employees in this study.
