Total Quality Management (TQM) is based on three principles: continuous quality improvement (CQI), customer focus, and teamwork. To date, limited research attention has been given to challenges involved in adopting such practices to healthcare. That's why this study was conducted to explore knowledge, Attitude and practice of hospital administrators in Benghazi toward application of Total quality management in the hospitals.
The study revealed good knowledge and attitude among the hospital administrators towards total quality management and there were no significant differences between those who had high education level and low ones.
The study recommends application of total quality management in the hospitals to improve the quality of health care.
