Obstacles to the application of total quality management in the offce of the ministry of sports in the Eastem province.

Abstract

The commitment to the principles of total quality management contributes to improving the chances of the sports organization to keep pace with new developments and challenges by making optimal use of the available material and human resources and using information systems to solve problems that hinder the work of this institution  Therefore, the current study aims to identify the obstacles to the application of total quality management in the office of the Ministry of Sports in the Eastern Province, and to try to provide solutions that raise the level of administrative performance in the sports institution and trying to provide solutions that raise the level of administrative performance in the sports institution, in addition to determining the size of requirements that achieve high rates of total quality, and improve the outcomes of the administrative process  The descriptive approach was used in the survey method for its relevance to the nature of the problem. The researcher also prepared a questionnaire according to the research objectives. The researcher chose the research sample by the survey method Where the sample included all employees of the Office of the Ministry of Sports in the Eastern Province, and to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher used the T-test to test the differences, and The results of the research showed that the level of application of total quality management in the office of the Ministry of Sports in the Eastern Province came to low degrees with the presence of several obstacles, most notably the presence of weakness in the awareness of the concept of quality, poor financial support and weakness in the qualification of human cadres, and these obstacles prevent the application of total quality management   Therefore, the researchers recommend the need to pay attention to providing the requirements for the application of total quality management in order to achieve a comprehensive administrative system based on making positive changes to all work procedures within this institution.
