Classroom management problems for secondary school teachers in the city of Benghazi

This study aims to determine the classroom Problems among high school teachers in Benghazi City, Libya.
The population of the study consisted of (7574) high school teachers in (44) schools during the school year (2020/2021). A random sample of (380) teachers was selected. A questionnairewas used to collect data, consists of (38) items. The face validity and the reliability of Cronbach Alfa coefficient are both tested and found to be satisfying.
The study findings are as follow:
- The high school teachers are facing classroom obstacles related to curriculum in a moderate level.
- There are no significant differences among teachers in facing classroom problems due to their scientific major (arts/science).
- There are significant differences among teachers in facing classroom problems due to their gender (male/female) in the favorite of male teachers.
- There are no significant differences among teachers in facing classroom management problems in generaldue to their job experience
Based on the findings and conclusion reached, recommendations were made in order to curb classroom management problems in Benghazi Public Secondary Schools.
