The Social and economic factors leading to committing murders in Libyan society from the point of view of faculty members at the University of Ajdabiya

Abstract

 The study aimed to identify the most important social factors behind committing murders in the Libyan society from the point of view of the faculty members at the University of Ajdabiya. Teaching at the University of Ajdabiya, by applying the scale of social and economic factors with the respondents, who numbered (66), and the study concluded that the social factors leading to committing murders from the viewpoint of the university faculty members were represented in the control of custom and customs, low educational level Violence in the social environment, long leisure time and wrong family upbringing methods contribute to the commission of murders, the media. And that the most important economic factors that drive the commission of murders in the Libyan society from the point of view of the university faculty members were the spread of the arms trade, low economic growth in the community, low family income, the trade in alcohol and drugs, unemployment and the failure to provide a source of livelihood for the family, the conflict of family members The inheritance and the high requirements of living contribute to the commission of murders, the spread of immigrant workers from the illegal immigration route, And that the general average of the most prevalent types of murders in the Libyan society from the viewpoint of the university faculty members reached (3.83) with a standard deviation (0.887), and this represents a high degree of appreciation, and the primary premeditated murders occupied a mean (4.21) with a standard deviation (0.926). ) This indicates a high degree of appreciation, followed by murder, the results of traffic accidents with an arithmetic mean (3.90) with a standard deviation (0.535), and this indicates a high degree of appreciation, followed by the third place in the third place is the semi-intentional murders with an arithmetic mean (3.87) with a standard deviation (0.949). This indicates a high degree of assessment, and finally, wrongful killing came in the fourth place, with an arithmetic mean (3.29) with a standard deviation of (1.141), and this indicates a medium degree of assessment.
