The study aimed to know the level of depression among children deprived of their family environment in the city of Benghazi, as well as to identify the extent to which the level of depression among children deprived of their family environment varies according to the variable (gender, child's age, and achievement level), and a comprehensive survey was conducted for children in social care homes. In the city of Benghazi, whose ages range from (8-15) years, the study used the descriptive survey method, and the depression scale was prepared by Maria Kovacs, 1983, 1985)), and the study reached the following results: The level of depression among children deprived of their family environment in Benghazi was low.
