The role of teachers in developing innovative thinking skills among secondary school students from the students’ point of view

The study aims to identify the role of teachers in developing innovative thinking skills (fluency - flexibility - originality - sensitivity to problems) of high school students, and to find out whether there is a difference in the role of teachers in developing innovative thinking skills among secondary school students in Al-Abyar Municipality from the point of view Students depending on the gender and specialization variables, The descriptive and analytical approach was relied upon, and the study sample consisted of male and female students of the secondary education stage in the municipality of Al-Abyaar, who numbered (116), and the study tool consisted of a questionnaire consisting of (33) phrases divided into 4 domains, The results showed that teachers have a great role in developing innovative thinking skills (fluency - flexibility - originality - sensitivity to problems) of high school students, and the results also showed that there is no difference in the role of teachers in developing innovative thinking skills from the students' point of view according to the variables of gender and specialization.
