The Opinions of Libyan Students Towards Libyan TV Drama

This study examines the opinions of Libyan students towards television drama and Libyan television drama in particular. The sample of this study was drawn from students of Faculty of Mass Communication at the University of Benghazi. In this study, the descriptive method was used. Questionnaire was distributed to a sample of (140) students (female and male). The results of this study showed that (57.9%) of the youth (Students of the Faculty of Mass Communication who were included in the study) thinks that the Libyan drama is weak, while (36.4%) of them considered it good. From the point of view of the students, what the Libyan drama lacks most is the lack of budget. Arab drama ranked first in terms of students' preference, while foreign drama ranked second with a rate of (35.2%), and Libyan drama came in last place with a rate of (13.6%).
