The manifestations of the place in the stories of Ahmed Yousef Agila

Abstract

Place  represents the mainstay in the narrative art of Ahmad Yossef  Aqaila because place is not only one of the most important elements of the story , but the nature of place , selected by the writer , is also the arena of his events and characters , for example the forest , the village , the valley and other environmental components such as the area of green mountain.

This phenomenon arouses the attention of the researcher and prompts him to trace the perfection and precision in his stories as well as to explore its essence.

The significance of the study reveals the literary output of Ahmad  Yossef Aqaila and his artistic creation .

The study is based on an introduction and three themes . The first theme displays the importance of place in short stories . The second theme deals with the sorts of place in the stories of Ahmad Yossef Aqaila .

The third theme depicts the relations of place with other narrative elements .
