Evaluating the kinesthetic development of per-school 4-5 years old in the city of Brega.
The research aims a finding the evaluation of the kinesthetic development of pre-school children 4-5 years old at the tamazyouz kindergarten in the city of Brega.
The kinesthetic development form was applied to the children which included basic movements such as walking, jumping, throwing, holding, and kicking.
The researcher used a survey because of the nature of the study. The sample consists of 60 randomly chosen children from the Tamayouz kindergarten in the city of Brega. The results show a significant improvement in the level of kinesthetic development in walking, kicking and throwing. On the other hand, no significant improvement emerged in the two skills of jumping and holding.
The results also reveal a shortage in the facilities as well as equipment and instruments. Besides, the study highlights the lack of a proper academic program specifically designed for children this age. Based on the results, the study emphasizes the need for providing the basic equipment as a fundamental asset for a nursery. Furthermore, opening new branches within the faculty of education as well the faculty of physical education appears to be strongly recommended by the findings of the research.
Finally, the researcher stresses the importance of further tests in order to find out the level of kinesthetic development referring to per-school children aged 4-5.
