The study aimed to find out the level of social skills among normal and hearing impaired individuals, and to find out whether there are differences in the level of social skills between normal and hearing impaired individuals. The study procedures and results were unified on the sample used It included (85) individuals, of whom (45) were normal, and (40) were hearing impaired. To collect the study data, the social skills scale was used by the researcher, and to analyze the data statistically, the statistical package for social sciences (spss) was used. Standard and t-test (arithmetical means and deviations) for one sample, and t-test for two independent samples, The results of the study revealed that the level of social skills for normal individuals was high for the scale as a whole and for the sub-dimensions, while the level of social skills for the hearing impaired was moderate. moderately auditory in relation to the total score and sub-dimensions (communication skills - academic skills - control and flexibility) While the level was low in the (self-affirmation) dimension, the results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in social skills between normal individuals and individuals with hearing disabilities. In favor of the normal, the results also showed that there are no differences in the social skills of the hearing impaired according to the gender variable (male-female).
